Castello di Aidone

The ruins left today of the castle are those of the construction that dates back to the 11th century. The 1693 earthquake completely destroyed it. It is called the Gresti castle or Pietratagliata, because it is located in the Gresti district. The ruins of the castle are privately owned and have been abandoned for a long time.
